John Higginson M.D., F.R.C.P., 90, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Nan Higginson, his daughters, Wendy Dunne and Jacqueline Huntly, and five grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
